It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Bier steins and pretzels bigger than your head, gorgeous fall weather, and fun times with friends. That’s right, OKTOBERFEST is finally here and we are ready to celebrate!
Tomorrow, The 55th Annual German-American Steuben Parade will kick off Oktoberfest celebrations in NYC followed by the Fourth Annual U.S. Masskrugstemmen Championship in Central Park. Join us after the parade at Bierhaus NYC where we will keep the party going with live music by Alpine Squeeze! and a ceremonial keg tapping at 8:00 p.m. Make sure to check the bottom of your stein as someone will receive the secret LUCKY stein and win a prize!
Can’t make it this weekend? Don’t worry, our Oktoberfest events and festivities will continue until October 31st! On Saturday, September 22nd, we will be celebrating the official start to Oktoberfest with two ceremonial keg tappings (5:oo p.m. and 9:00 p.m.), live music, an emcee host, Masskrugstemmen competitions, and more! You’re not going to want to miss it!
That’s not all! On Saturday, October 13th, we will be hosting New York’s only nationally sanctioned Oktoberfest Eating Championship with the debut of The Bierhaus NYC National Oktoberfest Eating Championship! Some of the nation’s most recognized competitive eaters will compete in the championship including All Pro Eating’s #2 Ranked Competitive Eater, Stephanie “Xanadu” Torres from Las Cruces, NM, 2012′s Competitive Eating Rookie of the Year Jamie “Bear” McDonald from Hartford, CT who has been breaking records everywhere he eats, and #4 Ranked Professional Competitive Eater Will “The Champ” Millender from Brooklyn, NY.
This All Pro Eating officially sanctioned National Eating Championship will take place at 3:00 p.m. at Bierhaus NYC and includes a $1,500.00 prize pool with a first place prize of $750.00. This event will be recognized nationally and will be the biggest event in New York City during Oktoberfest this year! It’s sure to be quite the spectacle!

Oktoberfest Reservation Info:
Throughout Oktoberfest, Bierhaus NYC will be accepting both group and individual seating reservations. There will be a $250 minimum for reservations of 10 or more and a $25 minimum for individual seat reservations. Reservations must be cancelled 24 hours in advance. Failure to do so will result in a cancellation fee of 50% for both seats and tables. While you’re not required to make reservations throughout Oktoberfest, we encourage you to do so due to the high volume of visitors to Bierhaus NYC during this time.
